About Joyce: She is the founder and owner of "A Peaceful Solution" Organizing in Oklahoma. Joyce has always had a "passion for fashion and to organize everything," even since childhood!
Many years later, Joyce married her college sweetheart; three children made their lives complete. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years; that didn't leave much time for organizing. As she operated a 'mom's shuttle' to Little League practices, ballet, cheerleading, other sports and church activities, Joyce told her children, "It's ok. We'll clean things up when we get back. We're going to be late!" (Does that sound familiar?)
Time passed quickly and soon Joyce's children were grown. Those hectic, yet wonderful years were gone. She didn't regret the time spent with family, rather than worrying about cluttered bedrooms. Yes, it was still there---the all-too-familiar clutter of those busy years! JOYCE UNDERSTANDS HOW BUSY LIFESTYLES LEAD TO CLUTTER AND DISORGANIZATION......WHICH CAN EASILY OVERTAKE US AND OUR FAMILY!
It was time for new goals. In addition to returning to the office, Joyce was determined to tackle those messes of the too-busy-lifestyle years. As she reflected, she vowed to "help to make a difference in someone else's life" and to develop her lifelong "passion for organizing." Today, Joyce shares her abilities and helps other busy mothers, single parents, and senior adults. She offers a wide variety of organizing services to help everyone! Joyce also offers her Peaceful Organizing Solutions and space design ideas to business professionals and companies. She presents a light-hearted, yet serious and professional approach to consulting, assisting, solving clutter and time management problems. Volunteer Experience Joyce has volunteered for many years in various ministries, including coordinating a music ministry and singing at churches and events with her "sisters" Donna, Linda, Karen and Tammy for years. Today, Joyce enjoys speaking/sharing organizing insights and solutions at business meetings and women's events. She currently participates in various volunteer ministry activities and shares her experience in Project/Event/Activity Management by helping others in planning for various events. Recently, for several years she has been the coordinator of the annual Ministry & Missions Fair Event at her church. She enjoys being on the the church Special Events Team, assisting her pastor in organizing various projects, and assisting the music & media minister as well.
Professional Experience Joyce offers over 20 years of experience in varied office atmospheres. Her professional expertise includes Office Management & Administration, Executive Assistant, Business Administration, Personnel Management & Supervision, and Project/Event/Activity Management. She attended the University of Central Oklahoma and also studied courses of the American Institute of Banking and Business. Joyce has experience in the areas of banking, corporate business, event security business, commercial/business law assistance, and as a church ministry assistant. She is experienced in the management hiring/interview process and offers resume' and interview tips, including wardrobe/attire consultancy for job applicants. Joyce has assisted ladies of varied ages in their quest for an updated wardrobe style. She has an eye for style and design; enjoys helping clients in the decision-making process of uncluttering their closets: "what to keep or toss" and "what to wear" for various occasions to complete their personal, individual "look."
Through the years, Joyce has continued to develop her talent for organizing. She has studied and searched numerous organizing resources and various seminars. Her recent continuing professional development includes pursuing fashion/image/wardrobe consultancy and studies in Fashion Merchandising. Joyce is a member of the Nat'l Assn. of Female Executives (NAFE), American Business Women's Assn.(ABWA), and is listed with Get Organized Now! and professional organizing sites.
